Mary Sue Harris
2015 Lifetime Achievement Award in Community History
Mary Sue Harris has been involved in the preservation of Anderson County history since 1961 and has served as Anderson County historian since 1993. A certified archivist and genealogist, she has assisted thousands in tracing their roots in the county and throughout the region, has authored or assisted with several books, is a long-time member of the Anderson County Genealogical Society, and in 2013 was inducted into the Anderson County Hall of Fame.
