LaKenya Middlebrook

City of Knoxville Representative

LaKenya R. Middlebrook, a respected community leader and attorney, is executive director of the city of Knoxville’s Police Advisory & Review Committee (PARC).
Middlebrook earned her bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Kentucky in 2002 and her law degree from the University of Tennessee in 2006.

She has worked in private practice as an attorney from 2008 to 2010 and from 2012 to the present. In-between, she served as director of the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center and is a past chair of the local Democratic Party.

She serves on the Knox County Foster Care Review Board, on the board of Girl Talk, and as co-chair of the local NAACP’s Housing Committee.
