Grainger County Historic Society

Now in its third year, the Grainger County Historic Society’s “Haints and History Night” continues to draw large crowds for entertaining and informative walking tours. The event includes visits to such locations as the Olde Jail, the Nance House, and a replica of Andrew Johnson’s tailor shop. Funds raised help purchase supplemental history textbooks for Grainger County students.
